New Moldovan finance minister introduced to ministry's staff Mrs. Mariana Durlesteanu thanked for offered confidence and underlined the importance of implementing new objectives, improving economic competitiveness and developing financial infrastructure, also promoting young staff, professional one, and an active dialog both with mass media, civil society and with international institutions.
Moldovan Prime Minister Zinaida Grecianii today introduced Finance Minister Mariana Durlesteanu to the ministry's central staff.
According to Greceanii, Mariana Durlesteanu's appointment is due to her high professional skills and achievements in the financial sector during her activity as first deputy prime minister, and as extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to the UK.
Among the most important tasks that the Finance Ministry has to deal with are the successful implementation of the 2008 budgetary law, and the need to meet the middle-term framework, the elaborate the 2009 budget law, develop constructive and effective relations with international financial bodies.
Greciani also reiterated the importance to ensure a constructive co-operation with other central public administration institutions and economic agents.
Zinaida Greceanii also highlighted the need to carry out the already launched reforms.
