Ministry of Finance employees were acquainted with best international experience of integrated strategic and operational planning within medium term budget framework, in the framework of a seminar organized by the EU High-Level Policy Advice Mission to Moldova (EUHLPAM).

The seminar was moderated by the EU High-Level Adviser to the Ministry of Finance Rimantas Veckys, who presented criteria for feasible government strategic planning, characteristics of centralized and decentralized strategic planning systems, procedures and instruments of operational planning, as well as integrated strategic planning model for transition countries.

The main objective of the event was to strengthen the capacities of the Ministry of Finance to produce better policies and strategic plans, as well as to increase their strategic management capacities.
